music is fantastic!
im feeling fantastic right now, i just brought some speakers for my computer and as a result am spending the afternoon putting each and every piece of music in my house onto my ipod...i love the way music makes you feel :)

right so me and matt got back together on sunday, it feels right. i know a lot of people will think its a bad idea but id rather regret doing this than always have the 'what if...' thing going on, ive had that before and its not cool so we're gonna give this ago and see what happens. so far so good.
today im sorting out all my paper work...its shit and i cant be bothered. ive just about got everything in my contract sorted but it has to be posted recorded delivery and at the mo i dont have a bean let along \a fiver to send it so itll have to wait for tomoz. ive also sorted out my GTC stuff so need to go and post that and the two dvds ive had for like 3 months! lol
Watched them last night with lady verity, we got a dominoes in and watched 'The Woods' and 'Reeker' was a fun night.
however today despite a good nights sleep i can not be arsed...suppose i better get back too it....booo

well today was great!!
i was sooo nervous yesterday about gpoing into school and completly taking over the class but it was ace, the kids behaved well..although they got a bit mental this afternoon. We had literacy this morning, then maths after break, then we did geography and looked at hurricanes and tornadoes and earthquakes and finally DT we were making pop ups for our story books. i was kneeling on the floor working with one of the kids at their hieght and my knees started to hurt poor little fellow jumped up and offered me a cushioned chair or a plasitc one...hes such a cutie...very bad and a bit rough...will probably be in prision when hes older but soo cute now!
got to get all my resources made for tomoz now, find some interactive texts for literacy, looking at difficult multiplication and then onto Sci or PSHE it should be both but good old preston north end are takin the kids for an hour...go them...free time for meeeeeeeeeeee :D
said id be at the bobbin for 8ish so me and the boy can have some tea and see each other today otherwise i wouldnt see him till tomoz night as monday night is crazily loud there.
still puppy searching not seen anything yet...doh!

matthew is warming to the idea of getting a dog again! last night he actually said we could go look at some...however i was a little bit tipsy and cant remember when it was he said we could go...it was either when i finish my placement or at the end of the month...when my birthday is...if he uses his brain maybe i'll have a puppy for my birthday :D how ace would that be...however he has an obsession with fox terriers because he had them when he was young...they're ok but not my favourite...and they're so small
in other news im still planning for school...boo
i have work at 6...i hate work now it sucks...luckily i think scottish matt is working so fingers crossed it'll be cool

well i made it to the post office...next day delivery is £4.10!! i couldnt believe it. but i did pick up some lamented sheet bargins....closing down sale at stationary box 2 for £4.09 they're originally £4.99 a pack...yay!
not sure what to do tonight, suppose ill be back down the bobbin... matthews worked today so will have tonight off but will have to be there as once again hes the only one with a license! think the squaddies will all be in too.
wanted to stop work at 6 but ive still got pizza fractions to do...the fun-ness of a primary teachers life

Life has been good the past week or so
finished my last presentation/assignment for my degree on tuesday and since then have tried to claim some of my life back that ive missed SO much over the past 2 months!
Spent a lot of time with the lovely Matthew and have been trying to increase my presence in The Bobbin as landlady lol
Did a few shifts at the wagon...its still shit without matt and at the moment its getting worse, if i didnt need the money to repay my overdraft then id sack it in but with placement looming for 8weeks on monday i cant afford to be picky with a job thats so flexible for me. But unless things change for the better once placement is over and i can get a full time job i will do!
Im applying for another job this ones in haslingden and hopefully an application form will arrive within the next few days for a job in milinthorpe...i sooo want to get sorted by june but as the days slip by signing up for a full time BSL sign language course seems to be what i shall be doing in September
Today i should be planning as we need all midterms done for wednesday and 2 days planning, however my motivation is once again at an all time low, however ive got out of work tomoz so im thinking an early start and a late finish. im sooo easily distracted right now...damn friends page and myspace! maybe applying for the job will pick me up a bit!

tomorrow is my last college exam ever...its a poster presentation on research we carried out in school....i really cant be arsed with it. half is done but needs redoing because it takes up the whole poster and i still need the other half!
i have to go to college in a bit to do ict...cant be bothered with that either to be honest!!
where o where has all my motivation gone!!

Well on thursday afternoon around 3 matt found out that he got the bobbin!! We're still waiting for the letter of confirmation but he was told on the phone that the job was his. unfortunately i was at college at the time taking part in 'fake interviews' in order to prepare us for getting jobs! So i popped into the pub on my way home and matt was as excited about the pub as if someone had given him a bag of crisps. luckily by 6 he was a little more happy and my 3am he was shouting 'i have my own pub i have my own pub' by this time he was very drunk and a little stoned! we had some drinks with our friends in the pub at 6 then at 830 went for Thai, its one of the best restaurants in Lancaster. at the end of our meal the teeny tiny thai lady came to our table and said the meal was complementary as matt had just taken on the pub next door! news travels so fast here!!
After the meal we went to matts 'new empire' and had a few drinks with the guys that have got it now, emily showed me upstairs...the flat is massive the lounge is just huge and fingers crossed the music wont be that anoying so maybe i will be moving in with matt....
after that we went to scottish matts till about 5am. was sooo much fun except yesterday we ended up lounging around and being lazy!! The same patterns continuing today, but to be fair i havent done this in ages! and although im finding it boring at points its nice to have a rest! got work at 7 and again tomorrow day, hopefully tomorrow night i can cook matt and i a fab meal but that will depend if he goes to sainsburys or sits in the pub having after footie drinks!
Visiting my placement school on wednesday...not particularly looking forward to that much! well i am looking forward to going into the school but not to getting up at stupid o clock!! boo

Christ i feel like i havent stopped!!
Friday i went to look around the school, and it was lovely! the classrooms were massive and really colourful there were loads of displays, interactive whiteboards in each classroom, loads of resources, a role play room etc etc. Matts interview went really well too and he found out he had a second interview on saturday morning. i went to vickys at 6 for tea and then we became addicted to hollyoaks so left for manchester at 730 instead of seven! got to her sisters house about half 8 and had a few drinks with her and her house mates and other friends then went out in chorlton which was really nice, lots of funky bars etc. We were meant to go to rachels house party/gay drug fueled rave but decided it was for the best we had an early night so we werent trashed for saturday! still it was about 2ish by the time we went to bed, me claire and vicky all shared her massive bed it was like the Waltons or something very funny!
Saturday morning we jumped out of bed and hit the shops pretty much straight away in order to find a dressy outfit with james's insentive of 'pretend your on a night out with kate moss'. within the first hour vicky had found her dress but i didnt find anything till 3 when i raided oasis and managed to find a massive grey/silver belt, a sparkly silver/grey scarf, a black dress and some grey suede boots. then we rushed around buying make up and bags and stuffs. ended up getting home late and claire and jayne were ready so left to meet the others whilst vix and i fought over the shower and hair straighteners...all in all i think we were about 20mins late. First port of call was Cloud 23...the new hilton in manchesters top storey bar. had a very citric cocktail there and then were whisked to Lounge 10 which was lovely. typical expensive restaurant...little atmosphere (other than our table of 13) and high prices for really really small portions of food...it was nice though! They had the most gorgeous guy singing in the corner, a magician and the funniest old lady in a ball dress up in the toilets! after there we went to canal street, tried to text my cousin but no reply so got very drunk! ended up in Cruz till 4:30 dancing to excellent dance covers of all the chart music! instead of going home like good girls and going home to claires we ended up going back to the hotel with rob and tom and staying up partying till 10am! needless to say we had to make a shameful dash to the taxi at 2 just before they had to check out!
Went back to claires and had a talking to for being naughty then went for lunch, poor victoria was feeling very worse for wear and was constantly being sick :( poor girl. we drove back to lancaster about 6 and matt met me in the pub about 7. had pizza for dinner then watched tv...'fat men cant hunt' is hillarious! then we watched the end of dawn of the dead and went to bed
Monday i had college from 9-1. first lecture was RE and apparently i made someone cry because i laid into her about stereotyping people...it was all over a picture of an extreme sculpture of jesus being crucified. then i found out that we had a lecture between four and six! hung around college with everyone and for the first time in about 6months everything felt cool and comfortable with everyone. MAtt had his second interview, apparently they were meant to tell him to bring a business plan but didnt call him to tell him that, apart from that he says it went well so now we just have to wait and see what happens. hopefully we'll hear by the end of the week. when i came home from college i had fajitas at vickys with mark and rich and watched the 'the smallest people in the world' it was ace, best documentary channel four has done for a while. after that they dragged me to the pub where i had lemonade and then went to bed.
Today i woke up late and decided that the 9-11 chit chat lecture wasnt worth it so stayed in bed with matt, which was lovely. when i came home i decided i needed to sort out the flat...as always the more i tided i decided to sort things too and ended up making more mess then there was originally. i literally stopped tidying about half hour ago and the bedrooms still a tip and the kitchen floor has all my dirty clothes all over it because the washing machine just isnt quick enough! I was also meant to retype my application letter but my brains fried so ill do it tomoz after ive met my AT.
sorry for rambling the lack of a cigarette and the smell of bleach and apple cleaner has sent me insane! better run off to shameless and watch some easy going tv, yay!

i'd just like to say to all the friends that have switched over since my last lj im sorry for neglecting you and cheers for not deleting me, i have been reading your journals every now and again but didnt feel like it was my place to comment! however thats all about to change!!!
For those of you who dont know me and for a catch up for those of you that do this post will be totally dedicated to that!
Well last year i fell in love with matt, the manager from work - cheesey i know but hes absolutely perfect for me. we both grew up in greenwich and have loads of spooky things in common (we both live and met in lancaster...a small city in the northwest of england). although hes 6 years older than me there isnt much of an age gap at all me being mature for my age *cough cough* and him being immature! lol Im still working at the pub and am now in my final year at college...come june/july im going to be a primary teacher so at the moment im keeping my eyes open for jobs in the area as matt has put in for a local alternative pub for which he has an interview on friday! *finger crossed*
To give you a flavour of what goes on in my life ill describe the last week.
Monday started off well, started back at college no one was late, made loads of notes and then hung out with vicky and had dinner, tuesday had college again and collected a load of maths books with the intention of starting my maths esssay...instead i wasted time and then went to work, wednesday was pretty dull hung around and got a plan together for maths, did a bit of reading and then went to work.
Thursday had college till 4, then rushed home in order to prepare for the staff night out, we went for a meal then had a couple of drinks at the 'borough' in town then we crawled around town looking for a bar that was open and not full of chavs, eventually settled for the sun and then went back to work for a lock in. then everyone came back to mine till 6:30am. Needless to say that friday day (me and matt were meant to go to bolton shopping for a sofa but didnt) was a complete blow out. in the evening matt made fondue and james, scottish matt and vicky came over we played a variety of board games and got incredibly drunk and intoxicated. Saturday poor matt had to go to work but i went to james's for dinner with alex and vicky.
Sunday i had to work the day shift whilst matt went and played football, after that we went to a mexican for dinner and then i got an early night, woken at 5am by matt coming home from scottish matts pretending to be an earth worm?! apparently under the duvet was the soil and he only came out when it was raining....yes he was very stoned and drunk!!
Monday i skipped college and did a little bit of maths
Tuesday i completed the majority of my essay and then went to johns
and that brings us to today.
I was meant to be attending a 11 hour sign language course but it was canceled at 8am this morning, the days pretty much been wasted as i have no more motivation! So now i have to go to work and pretend that ive done a bit of work on my essay to matt when all ive done is set up this new lj lol!
Well i think the rest of the entries will be friends only!
What does everyone think about the new policy on criminals? if they're not dangerous give them bail?
